Memobottle es una iniciativa de un diseñador estadounidense y uno australiano. Tras estudiar el impacto ambiental del uso de botellas de agua hechas de plástico desechable, llegaron a crear una solución. Si el plástico es reusable, es más efectivo su ayuda al ecosistema. Memobottle tiene el tamaño y la forma de papeles A4, A5 y carta, para hacer más fácil su transporte en mochilas, portafolios y carteras. Cuenta además con un sistema que permite lavarlo de una manera optimizada, evitando que termine en la basura tras un uso prolongado. No es sólo, por tanto, en el impacto medioambiental en lo que se enfocaron, sino en la verificación de su uso funcional, que sea una botella fácil de transportar y reusar. Esto diferencia a Memobottle de las botellas reusables presentes en el mercado. El proyecto, de Jesse Leeworthy y Jonathan Byrt, fue financiado en Kickstarter y las botellas saldrán al mercado en la primera mitad de 2015.
