REINTERPRETANDO EL BANQUILLO

Sidekick da vueltas a la forma tradicional del tradicional piso, ese que se ha vuelto sinónimo de bares y cafés, a través del enrejado de su base. El acero ha sido entrelazado para semejar una red, que cuenta además con una curva en la base que lo hace parecer una botella; el asiento hecho de corcho viene a sellar esta nueva interpretación, completando el ejercicio que el diseñador neozelandés realiza. Como ha hecho con todos sus objetos, a Sidekick John le imprime un gesto artístico que reside en su simple pero osada apariencia.
