MINIMALISMO EN LO COTIDIANO

El arquitecto y diseñador nacido en Canadá, Oki Sato, es el cerebro tras nendo y K%. Tras finalizar sus estudios de Master en Arquitectura en la Universidad de Waseda, Tokyo, estableció en la misma ciudad la firma por la cual se ha vuelto sinónimo de un diseño sencillo, directo, y siempre sorpresivo. Gracias a nendo, que ya tiene más de diez años, ha sido reconocido internacionalmente y se le han otorgado varios premios, además de ser invitado a dar charlas en diversas universidades de Japón y el extranjero. El trabajo que Sato ha planteado como ideología estética es el de sorprender a través de la cotidianeidad, al punto en que los momentos de asombro se vuelvan intuitivos y sean recibidos con agrado a través de los objetos.
