En Waarschoot, Bélgica, Julie D’Aubioul ha concebido un espacio temporal en una antigua fábrica abandonada. Un lugar para vivir y trabajar mientras termina su casa definitiva que se ubica en el mismo edificio. Se trata de una seguidilla de espacios intermedios, zonas, que esta arquitecta ha dispuesto dentro del recinto y que funcionan gracias a las estructuras de hierro originales del inmueble.
“Me gusta la idea de espacios intermedios entre interior y exterior. En este sentido, el edificio actúa como un gran techo bajo el cual puedo crear y recrear espacios libremente”, explica.
Esto se produce gracias a las unidades, que montadas sobre ruedas, le permiten reconfigurar fácilmente la distribución interior, hacer ajustes y cambios disminuyendo la cantidad de material de descarte asociado a la construcción.
