HERMETISMO DRAMATICO

Este espacio diseñado por Haworth Tompkins y Charcoalblue fue añadido al National Theatre de Londres de manera temporal, lo que ayuda a otorgarle un carácter de instalación o de evento al edificio. Hecho de acero y madera, la disposición y textura de su exterior hace homenaje al relieve del concreto del teatro, marcado por tablas. The Shed -«El cobertizo»- cuyo exterior no tiene puertas ni ventanas, puede recibir a 225 personas en el auditorio. El hermetismo de su forma y la vivacidad de su color lo vuelven complemento y contraste perfecto del geométrico y gris edificio de concreto al que se adhiere.
